A geode infilled with milky blue quartz/agate bears an uncanny resemblance to Sesame Street’s infamous Cookie Monster.
The rock was found by Lucas Fassari in the Rio Grande dol sul region near Soledade in Brazil. When the ordinary-looking egg-shaped geode was split, the amazing “face” was revealed on both sides. The current owner is American geologist Mike Bowers who has revealed the find to the world via Facebook. He has received several offers to sell the piece for over $10,000.
